THE TROLLENBERG TERROR (AKA THE CRAWLING EYE) (1958)

The Nightmare Terror of the Slithering Eye that Unleashed Agonising Horror on a Screaming World!

Directed by Quentin Lawrence
Starring Forrest Tucker, Jennifer Jayne, Warren Mitchell

Scientific investigator Alan Brooks (Forrest Tucker – The Abominable Snowman) is summoned to the remote Alpine village of Trollenberg, following the recent gruesome decapitation of a mountain-climber. En-route he encounters mind-reading sisters Anne and Sarah Pilgrim (Janet Munro and Jennifer Jayne) who follow him to the village.

When visiting old friend Professor Crevett (Warren Mitchell – Till Death Us Do Part) at his observatory, Brooks discovers a sinister radioactive cloud below the summit. What is the horrifying alien secret that lurks within the poisonous fog? And why does Anne and her power pose such a threat to it?

Also known as The Crawling Eye and written by the legendary Jimmy Sangster, this film was influential on the likes of future masters of horror John Carpenter and Stephen King. Treasured films is proud to announce the debut UK Blu-ray of The Trollenberg Terror, stacked with brand new and archive extra features in this much-treasured special edition!
