X-CROSS (2007)
LIMITED EDITION OF 2000 UNITS ONLY
Directed by Kenta Fukasaku
Starring Nao Matsushita, Ami Suzuki, Shoko Nakagawa, Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, Ayuko Iwane
Recovering from a failed love affair Shiyori (Nao Matsushita) heads to a seemingly quiet village resort in the country, in the company of best friend and bad girl Aiko (J-Pop star Ami Suzuki). They soon discover that the tranquil village is the home of a depraved cult with a fetish for cutting off women's legs. Trying to escape the girls are separated, and thus commences a nail-biting, shear-snipping fight for survival as the girls are faced with the psychopathic horrors of the 'devil's nest'.
From Kenta Fukasaku; director of Battle Royale II: Requiem and Yo-yo Girl Cop, this unique blend of The Wicker Man, The Grudge and Rashomon delivers an inventive chapter-cut thrill-ride of events that is a must for all fans of J-horror and is presented here in a much-treasured special edition!
