RAD (1983)

Worldwide First In 4K Dolby Vision!

Powered by synth anthems and real BMX talent, RAD has Director and stunt legend Hal Needham’s action skills on full, explosive display.

Set in the quiet logging town of Cochrane, Cru Jones lives and breathes BMX. When the elite Helltrack race rolls into town, backed by big money sponsors and ruthless promoters, Cru sees his one shot to prove he belongs among the sport’s best. But standing in his way are national champions, corporate interests eager to control the narrative, and pressure from his family to choose a more conventional path.

With the support of fellow riders, Cru is determined to qualify for Helltrack and race on his own terms. What follows is a high-energy showdown of dirt, danger, and defiance as heart collides with horsepower in one of the most iconic final races in ‘80s sports cinema. Winning isn’t just about the podium, but about refusing to let anyone else define your ride.
